Coleraine’s Caring Caretaker David Boyle MBE has thanked the public for their generous donations throughout this years sit-out. This years sit-out raised over £22,000. In total with events throughout the year brought donations up to a total of £31,052.
Speaking to Causeway Coast Community David said ” I am absolutely delighted with the generosity of the public. I am looking forward to handing out the cheques to the various charities chosen for 2018. I also have a donation for a charity in which at this time is a surprise and everyone will find out on the night”.
The cheque presentation will take place on the 21st January, 7.30pm at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine.
In total in the 19 years of raising money for charity, David’s total stands at £591,571.
