Titled “Open Live”, Causeway Coast and Glens wish to run an “Open Live” event, to run in tandem with the 148th Open which will be held at Royal Portrush Golf Club, July 18-21, 2019.

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community, MLA Maurice Bradley said: “It is my understanding that invitation to tender has been released today (Monday).

The Causeway Coast and Glens Council have invited tender from suitably qualified event organisers able to demonstrate expertise and experience of event management, including planning, programming, scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting and marketing, preferably within the music industry.

This is an exciting development which will also be showcased on BBC2NI, giving local artists the opportunity to perform live.

The following is what’s on offer:

Minimum 60 evening performances incorporating a minimum of 30 different artists across the six key towns including

PORTRUSH: three different artists playing each night of the Open Week in three participating bars in Portrush;
