Child Stops Breathing, Firefighters Spring To Action In Cushendall

Firefighters were tasked to a medical emergency this evening in Cushendall where a 2-year-old boy had stopped breathing.

Firefighters provided oxygen therapy until NIAS arrived.

SDLP councillor Margaret Anne McKillop has responded with praise for the swift action of the local fire services this evening. “Their expertise and quick response helped to save this young boy. On behalf of the whole community, we thank-you.”
