Cllr Richard Holmes has been selected to run as the Ulster Unionist Party candidate for the forthcoming Westminster Election on 8th June.
Speaking after his selection he said: “I’m delighted to have been selected as the UUP candidate for the forthcoming election.
We have seen a catastrophic failure of political leadership at Stormont from DUP/SF and we need an effective voice at Westminster to not only find a way forward for Northern Ireland, but also for the UK following the decision to leave the European Union.
Make no mistake, our future for the next 50 years will be decided in the next Parliament – international trade, jobs, the farming industry, Britain’s place in the world. We need MP’s who will put the country first to get the best deal for Northern Ireland and the UK.”
