Cllr Wilson calls for public to remain vigilant as malicious calls are made to local schools

1 Mins read

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community, Deputy Mayor Darryl Wilson said “Disturbing news coming through from the PSNI this morning that a number of Schools across Northern Ireland have been evacuated due to a series of ‘malicious calls’.

Police are investigating a series of malicious communications to schools across Northern Ireland today. I have been contacted by a number of concerned parents this morning already since the news has broken. The evacuations are a precautionary measure at this point, if anyone has any information or has spotted any suspicious activity they should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”
