The winners of the 2017 Causeway Coast and Glens Sports Awards have been revealed at an awards ceremony held in the lodge Hotel in Coleraine Cllr Darryl Wilson said “Many community heroes have been honoured for their contribution to local sport in the Ballymoney, Moyle, Limavady and Coleraine areas of the Borough .

The, sports awards aim to celebrate and reward the success and achievements of athletes, coaches and volunteers from across the Borough. “There is so much going on in grassroots sport in the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough, and local people put in so much of their own time to coach, train and run clubs in their community.

“It’s only right and fair that their commitment should be properly marked and that the enthusiasm and dedication they’ve shown and the successes they have achieved is recognised and celebrated. “Well done to everyone that was nominated for an award at the local heats and at Friday night’s final.
