Cllr Wilson praises proactive response by PSNI to anti social behaviour in Ballymoney

Cllr Wilson said, In the last number of weeks I highlighted an ongoing issue regarding drug abuse and anti social behaviour around the station, riverside park and Armour avenue areas of Ballymoney.

The PSNI have acted immediately and are now monitoring the area with a view to stamping out unacceptable behaviour.

It is imperative that elected representatives like myself along with members of the public liase with the PSNI on a regular basis to ensure that this issue is resolved, and in turn give peace of mind to local residents.

PSNI statement :

Police conducted patrols in Ballymoney on Wednesday evening in relation to ongoing anti-social behaviour in the area.

We would like to remind anyone frequenting the area of Armour Avenue/Duck Pond to be respectful towards nearby residents.

Thank you
