
Coleraine Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to Castlerock beach on the 17th April just before 9pm , following a report from the Ambulance Service of two female casualties in difficulties on rocks at the Barmouth.
On arrival, it was ascertained that the two casualties had been swept from rocks by a wave, but had managed to scramble back on to the rocks, before being treated by NIAS personnel.
Assistance was also provided by a local member of the public who volunteered the use of his four wheel drive vehicle.
