DUP MLA Maurice Bradley has praised the PSNI who seized a quantity of drugs and made five arrests this afternoon during a planned search operation in Coleraine.
Speaking to Causeway Coast Community, Maurice Bradley said “Taking illegal drugs and clamping down on those who deal in potential death and addiction is to be commended. The use of dangerous and or illegal drugs can be fatal whilst lining the pockets of uncaring dealers and suppliers.
I would encourage members of the public to feed any suspicions of drug activity to the PSNI- action may not be immediate, but even the smallest piece of information can be the piece that makes the jigsaw complete and planned searches and possible arrests can be made.”
“I would appeal to members of the public to contact officers direct or call 101 if they information on drugs or suppliers or use the Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111 which is anonymous. Congratulations to those officers involved in the careful planning and implementing of these searches which would appear to have been fruitful”, concluded MLA Bradley
