Coleraine men have football match charges withdrawn

1 Mins read

TWO men have had charges of being disorderly at Larne Football Club withdrawn after accepting cautions.

They are David Edgar (23) and Jack Gault (21), both with addresses at Dundooan Park in Coleraine.

The development came at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.

They had been charged with being disorderly on March 1 this year.

The charges were related to an Irish Cup Quarter Final match, which Coleraine won 5-3, which had been televised live on BBC2 Northern Ireland.

A number of other men from the Coleraine area still face charges in relation to alleged incidents at Inver Park on the date of the match.
