It was honours even at Windsor Park tonight as Coleraine and Linfield drew 0 – 0.

But the Blues won a penalty shoot-out after 90 minutes 4-3.

The competitive behind-closed-doors friendly provided both teams with a useful work out ahead of their respective Europa League ties next Thursday.

The match was played in three sections of 30 minutes as opposed to the normal two halves of 45 minutes.

With Europa League ties going to extra time and penalties, both managers David Healy and Oran Kearney agreed to replicate the possible match day scenario in this evening’s friendly.
