In a social media post Sergeant Michael O’Loan said ”

“Whilst on patrol of the Coleraine Town Centre yesterday evening Constable Russell, Woods and myself were flagged down by a man who had just been assault. After a short chase the suspect was apprehended arrested. Playing dead in a bush really doesn’t fool anyone!!

If you witnessed this incident please get in touch, your evidence could be vital in securing a prosecution in what was a very nasty assault on an innocent man minding his own business.
