Coleraine serves up a Banquet for ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ Scheme

1 Mins read

Bringing something delicious to the table this August, Coleraine town serves up over 30 different restaurants, bars and cafes as a banquet of choice for the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme.

In August you could enjoy dining out somewhere different every day across Coleraine with a variety of local eateries taking part in the new ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme which offers customers in Northern Ireland up to 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks.

Customers can enjoy eating out as many times as they like during the month – with no voucher needed. Local businesses taking part are encouraged to display the eye-catching ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ logo to help diners take advantage of the scheme which offers an eat-in benefit of 50% off the bill, up to a maximum of £10 per person.

Jamie Hamill, BID Manager for Coleraine said; “Our local hospitality businesses have been hit hard during this year, so this initiative rolled out by the government will encourage welcome trade to support our local businesses at a much needed time.

“I am really delighted that so many of our local restaurants, bars and cafes in Coleraine have registered to take part, this will help welcome customers through their doors and in turn will boost our local economy.
“Coleraine really does boast a wide range of wonderful eating establishments with different cuisines and specialities, and not to mention the welcoming local faces who are always happy to serve you. This is a great chance for local residents and visitors to try new places and explore all the town has to offer.”

To find out if a restaurant is participating in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme you can visit www.ourcoleraine.co.uk/eatout from Monday 3rd August or use the online restaurant finder now live on GOV.UK.

Simply enter your postcode, or one near to where you want to eat out, to get a list of participating outlets within a five-mile radius. You can also get in touch with your local restaurant to see if they’re taking part or check their website.
