COLERAINE : Two adjacent properties suffered smoke damage

Firefighters were called to a fire in a mid-terrace house on Lisnablagh Road, Coleraine last night. The fire was well alight when Firefighters arrived.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used 5 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

A casualty who had been in the house was taken to hospital by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

A NIFRS spokesperson said “Two adjacent properties suffered smoke damage. The fire was under control by 9.19pm and the cause has been determined as accidental.

7 Fire Appliances attended the incident along with the PSNI and NIAS.”

2 from Coleraine Fire Station, 2 from Portstewart Fire Station, 1 from Portrush Fire Station and 2 from Kilrea Fire Station.
