Waves of hope may come but an underlying belief the struggle must be fought alone can keep many from turning to those able to provide lasting help.

A café/restaurant in the heart of Coleraine hopes to turn that tide and integrate those in need back into society, starting with a hot drink.

Pay It Forward, an initiative at the Giddy Goat, situated at Waterside Coleraine allows customers to pay for an extra drink or meal alongside their own purchase that can then be offered to an individual in need who visits the café.

A social media post last week read “We have had such a great response to the pay it forward board! If you’re struggling let us help.

If you’re too proud to come in and ask then give the girls a call on 02870328012 and ask to order a pay it forward meal then come and collect it.

Never be too proud to ask for help!

Supporting local isn’t just supporting businesses it’s about supporting local people too.”
