Coleraine’s Market Yard to become a Car Park?

1 Mins read

Proposals brought before a Council Committee last week could see a big shake-up in the provision of car parking space within Coleraine Town Centre.

The proposals, which will go before Full Council for approval, would result in Council terminating their lease at Terrace Row Car Park, whilst making the Waterside Car Park free to use.

Councillors also agreed that the Old Market Yard should be used as a fee-paying car-park and as an event space.

A final decision will be made at the next Full Council meeting on Tuesday 27th September.
