The Community Rescue Service (CRS), a charitable search and rescue organisation operated by volunteers from communities across Northern Ireland responded to four incidents within eight hours this morning ( Sunday 31st March 2019 ).
A spokesperson for CRS said ‘At 02.12 this morning CRS teams responded to an injured male in Belfast. Later at 03.39 a high risk missing person in the North Antrim area required an immediate response from Ballycastle, Coleraine and Ballymoney teams and the missing person was located by CRS within 1hr.
At 05.22 the CRS teams were again responding to a male who was in danger in the North West area and the next emergency was for a missing person on the North Coast at 09.32.
All persons were found safe and returned to a place of safety.’
CRS Regional commander Sean McCarry said ‘We thank our volunteers for their continued selfless and steadfast commitment.’
