Conversion factor used by DFC brings rate increase to 7.42% as opposed to 7.65%

Following submission of papers to the Department for Communities by council officials this morning and the conversion factor being used by the department, the rate strike will result in a rate increase to the domestic ratepayer of 7.42% as opposed to the 7.65%.

The non-domestic rate increase remains unchanged at 0.01%.

Causeway Coast Community understands that Councilliors were informed about the above news this afternoon.
