Coolkeeran Rd in Armoy closed following serious 3 vehicle RTC

Emergency services at the scene of a RTC on the Coolkeeran Road Armoy on Sunday evening. One person named locally as Dylan O Kane has died, it is understood that a second person named locally as Hans McMullan has also died. Emergency services attended the scene of a serious RTC on the Coolkeeran Road, Armoy on Sunday evening / Monday morning.

Causeway Coast Community understands that one person has died and that three people have been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast with serious injuries.

In the early hours of this morning a police spokesperson said “Coolkeeran Rd in Armoy is closed following serious 3 vehicle RTC. Motorists are advised to avoid area & seek an alternative route. Diversions in place”

There are no further details at this stage.
