Coroner rules Elderly Ballycastle Couple died of Pneumonia

An elderly couple who were found dead in Ballycastle last year died from Pneumonia and possible Hypothermia, a Coroner’s report has ruled.

The bodies of 68-year-old Kenneth Boughey and 79-year-old Rita Boughey were found at their home in The Abbey area of the town on 4th June last year.

It is believed that the elderly couple had been dead for a number of weeks before their bodies were discovered.
