Council release Christmas Shopping and Entertainment guide

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has released its shopping and entertainment guide for the festive season.

The brochure opens up to reveal the many Christmas events in Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine and Limavady, as well as the surrounding areas.

It details Christmas lights switch on dates, Christmas markets, craft fairs, pantos, town centre entertainment as well as Sunday and late night shopping dates.

Official festivities begin with the Christmas lights switch on in Ballymoney on November 17th.  The other main lights switch on dates are Limavady on November 19th, Coleraine on 25th November and Ballycastle on December 1st.

The brochure contains the full list of Borough switch on events. It will be circulated around visitor information centres, shops, and community groups.

Residents are asked not to worry if they don’t get a paper copy as they can also keep updated by visiting the Facebook page Christmas in the Causeway Coast and Glens as well as the webpage www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/christmas
