A number of Councillors have called for the need for clearer and better public communications.

The move follows the lack of public communication on the re-opening of council-owned leisure facilities following lockdown, enforcement officers work and general updates.

It emerged at full council last week that the PR / Corporate Communication department consists of one person.

The Chief Executive is due to update Councillors in the coming weeks on improvements within the department.
