A MAN has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving at Ballycastle’s Coleraine Road.

Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on October 12, heard it was Daniel Craig’s fifth dangerous driving conviction.

The defendant (34), of Leyland Drive, Ballycastle, has pleaded guilty to charges relating to September 3 this year which also include driving with excess alcohol; absence of insurance for a Volkswagen Golf; being an unaccompanied L driver and failure to display L plates.

The court heard the defendant had four previous matters for dangerous driving and previous excess alcohol matters.

Defence barrister Francis Rafferty asked for a pre-sentence report.

The case was adjourned to November 16.
