BT Coleraine

The National Trust is to close the visitor’s centre at the Giant’s Causeway Visitor Centre from 5pm today.

A spokesperson said “The Giant’s Causeway is currently open as usual. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our priority and we are asking visitors to follow government guidance on social distancing.

From 5pm today the Visitor Centre will be closed.

The outdoor space will be open but due to recent rockfalls, we continue to advise visitors not to walk down the Blue Trail to the hexagonal causeway stones at this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation and to post advice on our website and social media channels.

When visiting outdoor spaces please continue to follow government guidance on social distancing.”
