Cutting Gear Used in Mussenden Road Traffic Collision

Firefighters attended a 2 vehicle road traffic collision around 6.07pm yesterday evening.

A spokesperson for NIFRS said “In one vehicle 4 occupants were out of the car on arrival of Firefighters and were taken to hospital.

In the other vehicle a man in his 30’s was heavily trapped and he was rescued by Firefighters using cutting equipment and was taken to hospital.  The incident was dealt with at 7.02pm”. 

There are no further details at this time.
