Statement by Cyril Quigg, TUV candidate for Causeway:

“I am pleased to report that Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have agreed with my request to fund the tourist signage to mark the burial place of my great uncle, Robert Quigg VC.

“The fight to secure the signage and funding has dragged on, but thankfully when I contacted Council to explore ways to secure the funding I was able to make the case for both the historical significance and tourism potential for such signage. I am glad to say the case was accepted.

“It is now time to get the signs up, and make sure the grave of our own war hero is properly marked.”
