Damage, arson and theft at the Cornfield Project

During the weekend the Cornfield Project was damaged. A spokesperson for the project said “The Outdoor Classroom Arched Seating was damaged and burnt, the sheds were broken into with CCA daubed in graffiti.   The new poly tunnel was ripped and broken into with equipment stolen”.

A police spokesperson said “We are actively investigating the reports of criminal damage, arson and theft at the Cornfield Project.

We are appealing for witnesses and/or information to assist in the identification of the culprits.
