Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary at a residential premises in the Broad Road area of Limavady.

Detective Sergeant Stewart said: “It was reported that sometime between Tuesday 13 December and Friday 16 December a house was broken into and an electric saw was stolen. It is also thought that a quantity of heating oil was taken.

“I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Coleraine Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 742 of 16/12/2016. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
