
Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of two burglaries at residential premises in the Portrush area yesterday, Tuesday, 17 April.
The first burglary occurred in the Brook Park area. At approximately 12.15pm five male youths, wearing baseball caps were observed leaving the property. A number of rooms were ransacked and a wedding and engagement ring stolen, along with a sum of cash.
The second burglary occurred in the Glenvale Avenue area. At approximately 12.25pm the occupant of the house disturbed four youths who had entered the kitchen of the property. They fled the scene empty handed.
Detectives would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in either of these areas to contact Detectives at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101, quoting references 528 and 534 17/04/18.
