Detectives in Coleraine are appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a house on Balteagh Lane in Macosquin sometime overnight last night, Saturday 17 February.

It was reported that sometime between 5pm yesterday evening and 10.30am this morning entry was gained to the property and a number of items stolen.

Detective Sergeant Rachel Gardiner is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who was in the area and witnessed any suspicious persons or vehicles to contact detectives in Coleraine on 101 quoting reference 533 17/02/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
