Disqualified driver now behind bars for the ‘foreseeable future’

Following pro active work by Coleraine NPT on the 15th March 2017 police detected a disqualified driver driving through Coleraine town area.

A police spokesperson said “This driver had previously been charged to court on the 13th March and failed to heed the courts warnings and as a result is now residing in HMP for the foreseeable future after being remanded at today’s court!

The vehicle, it’s trailer and the items contained within were all seized. It must be remembered that not all drivers on our roads are interested in driving licences, insurance or the law but we act on all information supplied by the community to make our roads safer.
