1 Mins read

A MAN who has admitted driving whilst having excess alcohol in breath in the Liffock area of Castlerock has been banned from the roads.

Geoffrey Campbell (25), of Tudor Oaks in Ballymoney, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on September 30 and his legal representative was solicitor Denise Gillan.

The defendant is charged in relation to Sunday August 25 this year.

Regarding the same date, the defendant denies charges of aggravated taking of a Mercedes and causing damage to the vehicle and absence of insurance.

The case has been adjourned to October 14 to fix a date for a contest but an interim driving ban started following the admission to the drink drive matter.
