Driving range plans for Coleraine

A plan for a 12 bay range, putting green and teaching facilities has been revealed just outside of Coleraine.

Coleraine Golf Centre would be built 115m North of 46B Newmills Road close to Tullans Caravan park.

The description of the proposed developed is as follows :

Single storey support building and shelter for 12 bay golf driving range. Alteration to boundaries and landscape of existing field to convert to driving range and small practice putting green.

Parking for approximately 16 cars on existing hardstanding.

Alteration to agricultural access to provide access to parking.

The above proposal is the subject of a planning application in which the developer hopes to lodge after consulting the public over the next fortnight.

The architect is Nathan Armstrong. Local Councillors were informed of the proposal of application two weeks ago.
