1 Mins read

A man who a judge described as “no stranger” to courts has admitted possessing Class C drugs.
Patrick Joseph Stephen O’Kane (30), whose address was given as The Abbey in Ballycastle but who is now living at Stonard Street in Moneymore, was caught with two strips of Pregabalin tablets on April 18 this year.

He appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court where District Judge Nigel Broderick said the defendant was in breach of a suspended sentence.

A defence lawyer said O’Kane has just come out of rehab.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
