Duncan: Ballycastle Crash is a tragedy

McAuley Multimedia 13/02/17. The scene of a fatal RTC on the Ramoan Road Ballycastle, a woman was knocked down by a car shortly before 5pm this evening. Police, Ambulance service and NIFRS attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. NO BY LINE PLEASE

SDLP North Antrim representative Connor Duncan has said that the death of a woman in Ballycastle following a road collision is a tragedy that has shocked local people.
He said:

“My thoughts are first and foremost with this woman’s family and friends at this very difficult time. The Ballycastle community is in shock tonight but I have no doubt that they will rally around the family as they mourn the loss of a loved one.

“I would encourage anyone who was in the Ramoan road area at 5pm this evening and who may have seen anything to report it to the police as soon as possible.”
