Easter Monday assault accused has case further adjourned

A PRELIMINARY Enquiry – the legal step to send a case to the Crown Court – is due to be held in December regarding a man charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon – a bottle – in the vicinity of New Market Street in Coleraine on Easter Monday.

Alexander Nott (30), with an address at Victoria Street in Ballymoney, whose solicitor at Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 21 was John Murphy, had the case adjourned to December 2.
