Emergency Services Assisting With Body Recovery On The North Antrim Coast

Police and coastguard along with Red Bay Lifeboat are currently assisting with a body recovery at Waterfoot on the Antrim Coast Road.

A police spokesperson said :Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman, aged in her 50s, whose body was recovered from the water at Waterfoot Beach this morning, Monday 09 July.

A post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of the death which is not believed to be suspicious.”
