Emergency Services Deal With Incident At Bushmills Bar

Emergency Services attended a fire at the Scotch House, Bushmills in the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews and police were tasked shortly after 3am. It is unclear at this stage how the fire started.

Police continue to hold a cordon.

A police spokesperson said ‘Police are currently dealing with an ongoing incident on Main Street, Bushmills. The Main Street is closed from the entrance of Dundarave Park through The Diamond to the Post Office, and out from The Diamond along Dunluce Road in junction with Riverdale Lodge. Can you please avoid the area.

Therefore there is no through traffic in Bushmills at this time and ask that you take different routes this morning. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working to get the roads clear. Thank you for your patience and we will update you as soon as possible.’
