Emergency services respond to Portrush incident

Emergency services responded to reports of a male stabbed in Portrush this evening.

NIAS despatched a Rapid Response Paramedic.

A NIAS spokesperson said ‘The patient had sustained minor injuries and declined the offer of transport to hospital.‘

A large police presence responded to the call closing the road into the town centre for a period of time.

Councillor Angela Mulholland thanked the emergency services for their quick response and for sealing the town whilst they dealt with the incident.
