Examination Success for Coleraine College Sixth Formers

1 Mins read

Year 14 students at Coleraine College recorded a very impressive set of results in their post 16 qualifications.  There was an outstanding 100% pass rate while 55% of students gained the equivalence of at least 2 A grades at A-Level and 27% gained the equivalence of at least one A* grade.  Chloe McCarron was the College’s top performer, achieving the equivalence of two A*s and one C grade at A-Level.

This fantastic achievement was all the more remarkable given that Chloe had to balance her studies with her football career. Chloe is a talented footballer who has represented Northern Ireland at all levels and frequently found herself jetting around Europe during term time to represent her country!

College Principal Mr Ricky Marsh congratulated all the students on their achievements and thanked their teachers for their commitment in helping to guide and support the students through their sixth form studies. He commented “I want to thank our Year 14 students for their contribution to Coleraine College and wish them all the best for whatever path they take in life, whether that be third level education or employment”.
