Feature Film seeking extras in the Causeway Coast

The producers of a feature film are seeking extras aged 7 – 14 in the Causeway Coast who are available to begin shooting in the near future.

The film, called “The Zoo” was written by Colin McIvor and is based on a true story about a Belfast Zookeeper who kept an elephant in his back garden during World War II.

The company are looking for:

  • Boys aged 7+ with short hair who are prepared to have a period haircut for the duration.
  • Girls aged 7+ with all hair lengths and styles, natural colour / natural looking colour (highlights may be acceptable)
  • Must be available on ALL the following dates. 3rd, 5th, 6th September.
  • Potential for additional days in Belfast.
  • Parent / Guardian must have own transport.
  • Payment for fitting and daily rate will be discussed on successful casting.

Applications must include ‘SCHOOL CHILDREN-NORTHERN SHOOT’ in the subject line as well as the following details.

  • Child’s name
  • Child’s height
  • Child’s clothing size
  • Child’s shoe size
  • A clear and recent photo of the child where the hair is down and visible. (No hats or group photos). If possible, an additional full-length picture would be helpful for costuming.
  • Parent or Guardian’s name.
  • Parent or Guardian’s contact information including daytime contact number
  • Home address and postcode
  • General availability for additional shooting days from 26th August – 1st October 2016.
