Female evacuated from Ballintoy Harbour

A female has been evacuated from Ballintoy Harbour after getting injured while taking part in a organised event at the Harbour.

She was reported as being in water with injuries Ballycastle and Coleraine Coastguards teams, and NIAS were called and Portrush All Weather Lifeboat was launched as well.

Her condition was assessed on scene and she was evacuated by small Y boat to Portrush All weather Lifeboat who transported her to Ballycastle to a waiting ambulance.
