Filling station robbery items ‘handed in to police’

1 Mins read

ITEMS taken in a knife hold-up at a filling station have been handed in to police, Coleraine Magistrates Court heard.

Kyle Parke (27), of Heronshaw in Bushmills, is accused of robbing a filling station at Bushmills Road in Coleraine of £975 cash and a quantity of tobacco on January 30 this year.

He is also accused of possession of an offensive weapon – a knife – with intent to commit a robbery.

The defendant is further charged with an assault on police on January 31.

On April 29 a prosecutor said the full file in the case had been due in March but that the investigating officer was due to hand it over to police.

Parke appeared via video link from prison and was further remanded in custody until May 20.
