Firefighters free man from vehicle following collision in Portstewart

Firefighters were called to the scene of a Road Traffic Collision in Portstewart this morning.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 10:28am to a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision at the Crescent, Portstewart area this morning ( Thursday 22nd September).

“One Fire Appliance each from Coleraine, Portstewart and Portrush Fire Stations were deployed to the scene. Firefighters using cutting equipment extricated a man from the vehicle.

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 10:48am.”
