Firefighters Tackle Portrush Easter Sunday Blaze

Eight fire appliances, one aerial appliance and a specialist Command support Unit responded to a blaze in the Bath Street area of Portrush last night ( Sunday 16th April 2017 ) along with 52 firefighters.

Emergency services were called to the incident shortly before 9pm where they found a developed blaze in an end-terraced home which was unoccupied.

Appliances from Portrush, Portstewart, Coleraine, Ballymoney, Ballymena, Ballycastle Northland and Strabane were called to extinguish the blaze.

Firefighters worked for a number of hours at the scene to fully extinguish the fire.
