
Police have charged four men aged 21, 23, 30 and 59 and two women, aged 26 and 46 with a number of drug-related offences including being concerned in the supply of Class A Controlled Drugs, possession of Class A Controlled Drugs, possession of Class A Controlled Drugs with intent to supply and supply of Class A Controlled Drugs.
All five are due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday 9 June.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charges follow the search of properties in the Coleraine area on, Thursday 7 June and the arrests of five adults on suspicion of drug-related offences – four men aged 59, 30, 23 and 21 and a woman aged 46 – as well as a 17 year old female. The sixth arrest of an adult, a 26 year old woman, was made on Friday 8 June.
The 17 year old female has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
