1 Mins read

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald has welcomed a £80,000 resurfacing scheme for the Foreglen Road.

The East Derry MLA said:

“I welcome the announcement of this resurfacing scheme by my party colleague and Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard.

“The Foreglen Road serves as a main route between the North West and Belfast, carrying up to 11,000 vehicles on a daily basis.

“The scheme will be of great benefit to the local community and will help improve transport connections for people, goods and services.

“Work is due to start on Monday 3rd October, with completion planned for Saturday 29th October.

“Motorists should be aware that delays may occur and that additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.”
