FOUR men have been charged with being disorderly in the Bushmills Road area of Coleraine on September 17 this year.

They all have Coleraine addresses – Benn Barbour (18), of Portrush Road; Christopher Boreland (23), of Loguestown Park; Stephen Archer (25), of Hillview Park; and John Doherty (57), of Queens Court.

They are each accused of affray and disorderly behaviour, according to the charge sheets.

The cases were listed as first appearances at Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, on October 26.
A police officer said he believed he could connect all the accused to the charges.

A prosecutor said the full file in connection with the cases has been received at his department from police and he asked for a four-week adjournment.

No further details were given to the court.

The cases were adjourned to late November.
