Funeral arrangements for Ballymoney teenager

The funeral of a 15-year-old boy who died at a waterfall during a holiday in Co Wicklow will take place on Monday afternoon.

Lewis Fleming, from Ballymoney was pronounced dead at the popular Powerscourt beauty spot on Wednesday afternoon.

The family is abiding by current government regulations.

A notice on funeral times read :

“For all those wishing to pay their respects to Lewis, following a service at 1st Kilraughts Presbyterian Church on Monday 10th August 2020 his cortege will proceed to Ballywillan Cemetery, Portrush via Ballybogey and Bushmills at 3.00pm. (please adhere to all social distancing guidance)

“Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Lewis, if desired the Air Ambulance c/o Mrs Mona Murdock 31, Bushmills Road, Coleraine.

“Fleming – 5th August 2020 (tragically, as a result of an accident), Lewis John, treasured second-born son of Gillian and Angus, 4, Glenlough Road, Ballymoney, much loved brother of Aaron and Harris and beloved grandson of the late Alma and Bill Campbell (Portrush) and Hilda and Kensey Fleming (Seaforde).
