‘Get out of Ballymoney’ attempted intimidation charge is withdrawn

A MAN who, according to the details of an attempted intimidation charge, was alleged to have told a man to “get out of Ballymoney” or he would kill his dog has had the charge withdrawn by prosecutors.

Richard Hetherington (37), of Alexandra Avenue, Ballymoney, had been charged in relation to July 16 this year.

Regarding the same date the defendant is charged with assaulting the same man; assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage to a front door window belonging to her.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Monday November 2, the case was adjourned to November 16.
